Katie Rittenour - Owner - August 2012 ~TLC and FFU~

Katie has been working in child care since 2008. She began as an aide for the school-aged program Bulldog University in Becker. She then went to college in Winona for her first two years of education and then transferred to St. Cloud State University. In August 2012 Katie began to work for TLC as a Preschool Teacher and in January 2014 she stepped into the Assistant Director position. She became director of TLC and in 2019 became the current owner of TLC and FFU. Family: In August of 2019, she will be getting married. She has a son, Bryson, a 1st grader. She will soon be stepmom to Elaina and Jacob. She has a dog named Odie. Hobbies: She likes to spend time with family and friends as well as hunting, fishing and taking the jeeps off-roading. Working with Children: "I love walking into the center and being greeted by a classroom full of smiling hugs. They are always so happy and cheerful, it would make anyone's day brighter." She also loves that every day is different. Kids are honest, upfront, and love to have fun. She enjoys watching them grow into the fun loving people they are. Other thoughts: Education and play go hand-in-hand. She loves finding new ways to keep the kids engaged while providing a safe environment.

Jennifer Neuman - Director of FFU - September 2010 ~FFU & Infant Room~

Jennifer works both for TLC and FFU. Education: She graduated from Becker High School. She then went to Robert Morris College in Chicago, Illinois. She has her Associate Degree in Business Administration. Family: She is married to Tom Neuman, and they have 3 children. Levi, Leonard, and Lillian. Hobbies: She enjoys shopping, and she enjoys doing anything outside with family - fishing, four wheeling, camping, BBQ's, swimming, and gardening. Working with Children: "Working with kids is always an adventure. My Job will never be boring. It is a great feeling to know that you helped mold a child into part of the person they will some day become."

Jennifer Jefferson - Preschool 2 Teacher - January 2009

Jennifer started with us as a long term substitute in our Infant room at Red Balloon. She has since become the Lead Infant Teacher at TLC. Education: After graduating from high school, she continued her studies through Rasmussen College in the Child Development program as a Lead Teacher. Family: She is engaged to Eric and has one son, Jacob. Hobbies: She loves being with her family. She also loves to read, scrapbooking her memories, doing arts and crafts, and to play frisbee golf. Working with Children: "I enjoy working with children because of their personalities. I love teaching young children new things. Watching children grow and knowing that they are learning the things you are teaching them, gives me great pride at my job."

Dani Rueckert - Assistant Teacher - April 2017 ~ Floater~

Education: She is presently going to college for nursing (RN) at SCTU. You will see her during breaks. Family: Her family includes her dad Jamey, her mom Sara, her brothers Andrew and Dale. She has a dog named Jazzi, and her best friend is Kelsey. Working with Children: "This is something I have always enjoyed doing. I am a proud auntie to a little boy named Reed."

Courtney Adelman - Infant Teacher - September 2012

Courtney is one of our most energetic teachers. Education: Courtney recently graduated from Foley High School. She attended SCTCC and graduated with her child and adult care education degree. Family: She is engaged to Mike and they have a cat, Newton. Hobbies: Courtney likes to spend time with friends and family and also enjoys doing crafts. Working with Children: "I have chosen to work with children because my passion is to nurture and shape their minds. I also love to hear their interesting stories."

Kelsey Ahner - Teacher - May 2015
~Infant Transition Room~

Kelsey began working for our team back in 2015. She began to float around the different classrooms to try and find where her best fit was. She found her calling in the Infant room. Education: Kelsey graduated from Milaca High School in 2012. Kelsey has completed some college at SCSU & the U of M. She is currently furthering her education at SCTCC. Family: Kelsey has two daughters, Alivia & Abrielle. She is the oldest of 4. She has one brother and 2 sisters. Hobbies: Kelsey enjoys swimming, traveling, as well as hanging out with family & friends. Working with Children: "I have been around children my entire life and I wouldn't have it any other way."

Christa Kosloske - Cook - January 2016

Education: She graduated from Foley High School. She plans to go back to school in the near future to become a childcare teacher. Family: She is a mother to 3 beautiful children. Kaydence (9), Alex (7) and the newest bundle of joy McKenzie (5 months). She has been married to the best guy a lady could ask for, for 10 years. She could not imagine life without all of them. Working with Children: "I love working with these kids. My favorite is the toddlers, watching them learn and experience new things everyday. It makes my heart happy. I also love being their cook." Other things to share: "I love the company I work for and I love seeing all these children at daycare. They grow from babies to preschoolers. I could never leave. I get up just to come to see these kids everyday. They are the reason I come to work!"

Mackenzie Petersen - Toddler Teacher - March 2019

Education: She has her A.S. Degree in Early Childhood Development. She also has the Minnesota infant/Toddler Credentials. Family: She lives with her future husband, Billy. She has a cat named Jojo and will be getting 2 puppies soon. Working with Children: "I love children! I grew up taking care of my siblings and during high school, I was an aide for a preschool center until I got my degree and became a teacher. I couldn't see myself doing anything else in life? I am looking forward to meeting and talking with everyone. I am very much a people person!
